TINDAK KEKERASAN DI KALANGAN SISWA SMA/SMK

Tujuan studi adalah mengkaji fenomena tindak kekerasan di kalangan siswa SMA/SMK dan faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya tindak kekerasan siswa tersebut. Studi menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan pengumpulan data terutama melalui wawancara mendalam kepada pelaku atau korban tindak kekerasan di kalangan siswa, guru, unsur dinas pendidikan setempat, dan pihak kepolisian yang menangani kasus tindak kekerasan terkait. Hasil mengungkapkan terdapat tiga pola tindak kekerasan yang dilakukan siswa SMA/SMK, yaitu tindak kekerasan antar kelompok siswa pada satu sekolah, tindak kekerasan siswa antar sekolah, dan tindak kekerasan oleh kelompok pertemanan (gang). Terdapat sejumlah faktor yang memengaruhi tindak kekerasan siswa, namun kesetiakawanan kelompok merupakan faktor dominan yang melatarbelakangi tindak kekerasan siswa SMA/SMK.

 

Abstract

The purpose this study is to analize phenomena of violence among SMA/SMK students and factors that related to student violence. The study used a qualitative approach that is implemented the day case study method. Data collected primarily through in-depth interviews to the perpetrators or victims of the violence among students, teachers, local education office staf, and the police who handle cases of violence related. The study revealed that there are three patterns of violence committed by SMA/ SMK students. They are is, the violence between groups of students of a school, violence students between school violence, and acts of violence by a group of friends (alley). There are a number of factors that affect student violence, but the solidarity of the group is the dominant factor behind the violence of SMA /SMK students.
