Jurnal Penelitian Kebijakan Pendidikan (Journal of Education Policy Research) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published biannually by the Center for Education Standards and Policy, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia (formerly the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology).
The journal serves as a platform for disseminating research and analytical studies in the field of education policy, encompassing areas such as governance, curriculum development, educational technology, and pedagogical innovation. Its mission is to advance evidence-based discourse on education policy and practice in Indonesia and beyond.
Since its inaugural issue in 2007 (ISSN 0216-2792), Jurnal Penelitian Kebijakan Pendidikan has evolved to reflect the growing demand for high-quality, evidence-based policy scholarship. Originally issued three times per year, it now appears twice annually. In 2019, the journal transitioned fully to an online format using the Open Journal System (OJS) and adopted e-ISSN 2654-427X to enhance accessibility and international visibility.
The journal is nationally accredited at SINTA Level 2 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, as stipulated in Accreditation Decree No. 177/E/KPT/2024 dated October 15, 2024. This accreditation is valid for five years.
